EARLY ARRIVAL MIXER
For those arriving prior to the event on Saturday, we've arranged to have an informal dinner and cocktails meet and greet at Carolina Ale House, just a short walk from the host hotel in the heart of Kingsley. This is a drop in event, no tickets are necessary.

READER EVENT
From 11 A.M. until 5 P.M. (10 A.M. for our VIP guests), join us in the Spring Maid Ballroom at the Courtyard Marriott for a day of dark delights. More than 40 authors will gather to offer you a cornucopia of decadent and delicious works, spanning the gamut of the Dark Romance genre from Romantic Suspense to Horrorotica and everything in between. AFTER HOURS EVENT
After the romance ends, terror takes hold of the Carolinas. From 7 p.m. until 12 a.m. Carowinds Amusement park embraces the season by becoming SCarowinds, a Halloween haunt for all ages. Authors After Midnight Attendees have the opportunity to purchase advanced tickets at a special rate. Join your favorite authors for a night of devilish debauchery...if you dare. Located in the newly developed Kingsley area of Fort Mill (part of the South Charlotte Metro Area), the Courtyard by Marriott provides walking access to more than a dozen restaurants and lounges, as well as local salons and boutique shopping. Kingsley is less than a mile from Baxter Village, where guests can enjoy even more dining and cocktail hour options.
